The CRM and the Mandated Communication Standard

To receive the full support of the organization (technical sales, legal, and executive sponsorship), a salesperson must communicate their progress transparently. The CRM is our primary communication tool.
The Rule of Documentation:
- Every Single Call: Every interaction—whether a 30-second voicemail or an hour-long discovery session—must be logged in the CRM immediately.
- Accuracy: Notes must be detailed enough that a colleague could step in and understand the exact state of the deal without asking you for a debrief.
- The "If/Then" Clause: If an activity is not logged in the CRM, it did not happen. Performance is measured by data, not by memory or "gut feeling."
